She and her late husband moved six times in six years following his executive promotions with Sears and his acumen in opening new stores. Becky has owned and redecorated 13 different homes, finally settling in in Durham. Moving was mandatory as a Navy brat and then as a corporate wife. Needless to say, she understands the emotions and challenges involved in moving and starting a new chapter of your life. With a tender heart for newcomers she will be by your side in every step moving to a new town or just helping you get settled in a new house in the Triangle.
 

In 1988 she joined Aflac, a supplemental insurance provider, and held the position of District Manager for 13 years. During her tenure with Aflac she won the prestigious President’s Club Award, Fame Award (13 times), Top Producer, Top New Account Opener, Top District Manager and countless other awards.
 

Her attention to detail, compassion and customer service served her well while assisting her customers with serious health claims. Additionally, her extensive knowledge of the Triangle and its business climate is an asset in knowing the Durham community and how it operates.
 

She attended the University of Georgia and majored in marketing and advertising. While in Durham she has been active in garden club, duplicate bridge, and church activities. Interior decorating, gardening and photography are her passions. For six years she served on the Board of  Directors for Caring House and has been an ardent supporter and fundraiser for Duke Home Care and Hospice. She has travelled extensively and at one time owned an antique business. She has two sons and five grandchildren.
 

Her extensive personal knowledge of real estate and the entire Triangle will help propel her into this new and exciting career.
