On a warm day in late October, 1983, I walked around the Duke campus, among students wearing shorts, and decided this was where I wanted to go to school. I grew up in New York and as my mother will tell you, I would cry when it was cold outside. Thirty-seven years later, I still love to call North Carolina home.

Throughout my time in North Carolina, I have continuously cultivated my love of real estate. In any town we visited, my husband and I could be found driving around searching for open houses and for sale signs. After spending our first year together as newlyweds, in a home in Woodcroft, we built a custom home in Durham County for our growing family. When our children started school, we chose a new location, purchasing and renovating a house in Hope Valley. After our three daughters became avid equestrians, we built a house and horse farm in Hillsborough. This was followed by a venture to Winston-Salem, where we purchased a newly renovated historic home. Eight years later, with all of our kids off to college, we returned to where it all started.

I am so happy to be back in Durham. Since my return, I have enjoyed exploring the revitalization of Downtown Durham.  I love running on the American Tobacco Trail and the many greenways, reading, trying new restaurants, and searching for the best running trails and donuts wherever I travel. I am an active member of the Chapel Hill Service League and volunteer with Saving Grace-Animals for Adoption.

Having been a long-time client of Peak, Swirles, and Cavallito, I am so excited to join this amazing group of experienced real estate professionals. I understand the joy and stress of buying and selling a home and look forward to helping you in your own real estate journey!
