There is always something fun to do at our 8th favorite place– downtown Durham. The city has so much to offer its residents and visitors, from lively restaurants to beautiful local art to interesting historical sites. DUKE UNIVERSITY AND UNC-CHAPEL HILL SPORTING EVENTS
The rivalry is forever present at our office as we have about an even number of Carolina and Duke fans. Whether you’re cheering for Carolina or Duke, we all agree that nothing is more exciting than watching the two teams face off. The intense atmosphere of the games puts them in number seven on our countdown.
NUMBER 6:
THE STREETS AT SOUTHPOINT
If you are just window shopping or searching for the perfect outfit to wear for you next outing, the Streets at Southpoint is a fantastic place to visit. The area boasts great restaurants, retailers, and other forms of entertainment from movies to free family events and music. NASHER ART MUSEUM
Located at Duke University, this lovely museum features traveling exhibits from around the world, as well as permanent exhibits that are educational, interesting, and fun. DUKE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
Coming in at number four on our list is the Duke University Campus. Known for its beautiful architecture and intriguing character, the campus attracts visitors from around the world. NUMBER 3:
UNC- CHAPEL HILL CAMPUS
Home to stunning greenery and elaborate architecture, the UNC- Chapel Hill campus is known for being one of the most beautiful places in the area. Within the campus, our agents love visiting the Coker Arboretum. They also enjoy spending time eating and shopping on the world-famous Franklin Street. SARAH P. DUKE GARDENS
One visit is not enough for this spectacular location because the Sarah P. Duke Gardens remain stunning at anytime of the year. DURHAM PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Topping our list is the Durham Performing Arts Center, also known as the DPAC. Made famous by its award-winning entertainment, the DPAC is the perfect place for a night out!
